GENERAL
All firearms will be cleaned and inspected prior to modification. Some firearms will not pass
and will be determined “unsafe to fire”. Types that fall into this category will be considered
unsafe due to poor design, heat treat and/ or material type. The firearm will be tagged
“unsafe to fire” and returned to customer. Navajo Smith reserves the right to refuse sales
and/ or services.
There will be a additional $40.00 charge for parts with excessive loc-tite and/or epoxy.
Disassembled guns or their parts must be accompanied with an itemized parts list. We will not
be held responsible for undocumented parts.
Clean and inspect 40.00 – 100.00 varies w/ make & model
Minimum charge 40.00 including estimates
Make chamber cast 40.00 required on unmarked barrels
Remove case, live round, obstruction and fouling 3hr min ($40.00 hr - shop time)
Mechanically remove case/ obstruction 3hr min ($60.00 hr - machine time)
Delivery and Payment:
A 50% deposit will be required on all custom gun orders with the balance due on completion.
REFINISHING
Pistols and Revolvers, Rifles and Shotguns: Oxy 7 (bluing) /parkarize, bead blast (matte),
#400 gr., Matchless (mirror) polish, or Bake-on paint.
PISTOL SMITHING
1911 Metal work (may apply to other types)
Hand stipple top of slide, Cocking serration's, Lower and flair ejection port, Tune extractor,
Polish breech face. De-burr complete, Supply and install Bo-mar, Trijicon, XS, Novak, and MMC
sight systems, Accu-rail system (to tighten slide to frame) 1911 pistol carbon or stainless
steel only. Checker to 20/25/30 LPI.
1911 competition: Supply and install match grade barrel and bushing, compensator, Re-fit
existing barrel, Throat barrel, polish feed ramp, Crown barrel, Stake barrel link pin, install
guide rod (all types), reverse plug, Modify frame for high grip, Bevel magazine well, Supply
and install ext. Ejector or slide stop, hex grip screws, beavertail grip safety, and extended
ambidextrous thumb safeties.
NS Pistol trigger work
1911 Series 70, 80, Browning hi-power, Sig Sauer, Glock, most autos and Double action
revolvers.
1911 Reliability enhancement: throat barrel, polish feed ramp, tune extractor, polish breech
face, lower ejection port, Oxy 7, parkarize or plate slide. Install competition springs kit and 30
round test fire/ sight in.
1911 competition Bo-Mar sight installation: Hand stipple top of slide, low mount Bo-Mar rear
sight install, choice of fiber optic, Oxy 7,parkarize or Bake on paint slide finish.
GLOCK SERVICES
Poly work: Back strap modification, Beaver tail fabrication, Front strap modification, Round
out trigger guard, Remove finger grooves, or thumb rests and Texture services.
Slide work: Machine for adjustable day/night sights, forward serration's
RIFLE SMITHING
Accurizing barreled action: Blue print receiver, lap locking lugs/ bolt, supply and install match
grade barrel, Re-chamber existing system, Cut and crown barrel (match grade), Install
muzzle breaks, and trigger jobs. Supply and install “Sako” claw type extractor on Remington
700 bolt, Install 3 position safety on Rem 700, and barrel lapping.
Stock work: Complete bedding stock w/ aluminum pillars, Non-slip to pistol grip and fore-end.
Supply & install: recoil pads, Anschutz style accessory rail, and sling studs.
Sights: Mount and bore sight scope and open sights, lap rings, Test fire and sight in (for
accuracy).
SMOOTH BORE
(Shotgun work): Sight work, Long forcing cone (non-plated bbl) and Pattern (test fire),
Porting, Open/ modify choke. Remington 870, Mossberg 590/500 reliability enhancement.
